MIWI LEADERSHIP

Krissi Edgington is the President of MIWI Marketing, a consultancy specializing in personal and corporate branding, marketing strategy, public relations, cause marketing, communications, and events. Krissi’s background is rich with sports, entertainment, healthcare, higher education, real estate, and nonprofit experience, having worked with individual clients including CEOs, Olympians and blue-chip professional athletes across the NFL, NBA, NASCAR and IndyCar; as well as corporate clients including American Honda, NASCAR, NBA Players Association, Ascension Health, Butler University, Berkshire Hathaway, Atlantic League of Professional Baseball and others.

Krissi is a graduate of Butler University and has served as an Executive Board Member of the Young Alumni Board and Butler Giving Circle. She proudly serves as Co-founder and Vice President of the Board of Project 44, and is also an active member of PRSA and AMA.

Krissi and her family reside in Indianapolis, IN. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, fitness, and spending time in nature.

Gastonia Honey Hunters

With an opportunity to leverage historic ownership in sports, MIWI led market research, brand discovery, team naming, logo design, website and marketing asset creation, merchandise development, social media, video production, community engagement, and sports PR during the team’s inception and launch phases.

After discovering a key historic element from Gastonia’s history, MIWI created an inspired brand that would go on to shape the team and City of Gastonia alike. Thus, the Honey Hunters were born. As a result, MIWI and the team landed top tier national, niche, and local media, set new league merchandise sales records, and created a best-in-class experience to engage fans and unite the community.
